Major manufacturing unit BHEL introduces its offer of Artisans Freshers in great number of vacancies for following Trade: -

Trade and Number of Vacancies along with their Qualifications

Ø      Fitter (260 Seats): - Educational Qualification Required - Matric with SSLC plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)# along with Natinal Trade Certificate (NTC )

Ø      Welder (100 Seats): - Educational Qualification Required - Matric, SSLC, National Trade Certificate (NAC)# along with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)

Ø      Electrician (30 Seats): - Educational Qualification Required – DO Above

Ø      Instrument Mechanic (3 Seats): - Educational Qualification Required – DO Above

Ø      A C Mechanic (3 Seats): - Qualification Required – DO Above

Ø      Crane Operator cum Rigger (50 Seats): - Educatinal Qualification Required  Matric, SSLC, National Trade Certifficate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)# in Mechanic Trade

** Those Candidates who belongs to General and OBC Categories should have obtained       minimum 60% marks in both NTC and NAC

Candidates belonging to SC, ST Categories require at least 55% marks in NAC and NTC

Candidates must have working knowledge of Tamil

• Reservation for vacancies- Out of all Seats 120 are reserved for candidates belonging to OBC (Non Creamy Layer), 84 Seats reserve for SC, 4 reserve for ST Candidates and 14 Seats reserve for Physically Disabled Candidates

• All Candidates have to undergo training for their mentioned period in their respective or associated Trade  

Age limits: Upper age limit 27 Years as on 01-10-2008 that is candidates should be born

                   on or after 01-10-1981

Relaxation for candidates

• A relaxation of 3 years provided for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), 5 years relaxation for SC & ST Candidates
• In General Category physical Disabled Candidates would get 10 years age relaxation.
• In same case of physically disabled candidates belonging to SC & ST will be get 15 years relaxation and 13 years of age relaxation for OBC Candidates ( Non Creamy Layer)

• 5 years age relaxation for candidates who were domiciled in State of Jammu & Kashmir during 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989.
